Why We Should Have Never Given Government Computers

The reason we have computers is because they are suppose to make us more efficient and indeed they do. However you would have thought that when we gave computers to government they would have become more efficient right?

Well, that is silly of us, of course not, have you ever known them to be more efficient. You would think that they would be able to downsize some of those worthless bureaucrats right? Try again, they have expanded and used the computers as a reason. You see now they need more staff, IT department, computer maintenance division, computer programmers and data entry people? But shouldnt there be less paper work and fewer typewriters and well less people there? You would think so, but what has been efficient for the rest of our civilization has actually increased the inefficiencies of government you see?

Now they cut down more trees and make more forms to fill out and harass more people with their petty crap and bureaucratic non-sense? They now have found more people to charge more fees too and more companies to write citations and fines too. And guess what we are all paying for all that inefficiency too. We are paying twice.

What on Earth is with these people? You give them the most efficient tool ever created in the history of mankind and modern civilization and they figure out a way to expand the blob of bureaucracy; Go figure? Think on this in 2006.
